Large, climbing shrubs, branches glabrous, gland dotted; leaves opposite, ovate, entire, obtuse at apex; flowers in axillary cymes, calyx 5-partite, 1 cm long, segments free, linear-lanceolate, acuminate at apex; corolla yellow with reddish veins at the throat, lobes orbicular or deltoid, shorter than tube, glabrous, hairy only on throat; stamens-5, inserted at the top of corolla tube, exserted, filaments short, anthers connivent and adherent to stigma, style stout, stigma discoid; ovary syncarpous, bilocular, many ovuled. |
