Plant Description

Annual, twining or trailing herbs, branches slender, puberulous at the beginning; stipules minute, lanceolate, caducous; stipellae abortive; leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets variable in size, almost as broad as long, deltoid in lower half, subcoriaceous or membranous, pubescent, consispicuously gland dotted below, base cuneate, apex obtuse, petiole up to 3 cm, petiolule minute; bracts minute, linear; 6-12 flowered, axillary, lax racemes axillary, peduncle usually exceeding the length of leaf; pedicel short; calyx teeth exceeding the tube, pubescent, lowest teeth setaceous, twice as the tube; corolla yellow, twice as the calyx, standard oblong-ovate, wings short, not distinctly beaked; keels incurved; stamens diadelphous (9+1), filaments long, filiform, anthers uniform, much exserted; ovary subsessile, style filiform, much incurved; stigma capitate; pods 3-4 times longer than calyx, oblong, glabrescent, turgid, slightly recurved, mostly 2- seeded.
