Undershrub, diffused or erect, up to 2 m tall; leaves 10-15 cm long, with a sessile gland just above the base of the petiole; leaflets 3-6 pairs, glaucous, foetid, finely pubescent, opposite, thin, entire, acute or acuminate; stipules linear-lanceolate; flowers yellow on short peduncled, few flowered, corymbose racemes, axillary or terminal; bracts thin, ovate, acuminate, caducous; calyx lobes 5, ovate, obtuse, mucronate, glabrous; petals 5, golden-yellow, oblong-obovate, concave, prominently veined; stamens 10, staminodes 3, perfect7; ovary subsessile, densely pubescent, style slender; pod shortly stipitate, slightly falcate, flat, laterally compressed, recurved, linear oblong, torulose, acute, brown with yellow margins; seeds 15-30, ovoid, greenish brown, smooth, glabrous.
