Shrub with straggling, glabrous or pubescent branches; leaves evenpinnate, alternate; stipules linear, subulate, caducous; petioles bearing a clavate or cylindrical gland; leaflets obovate, oblanceolate or oblong, sparsely and minutely pubescent, obtuse at apex, often broadly cuneate at base, pale beneath; peduncles slender, 2 to 3 flowered; flowers pedicellate, bracteate, bisexual, zygomorphic, yellow; sepals-5, thin, green, obtuse or rounded; petals-5, ovate, clawed, imbricate, bright yellow, brown veined; stamens 10, perfect 7, subequal, anthers usually of two kinds, larger with 3-4 mm long anthers and smaller of 1-2 mm; ovary densely pubescent; pods linear, 6-10 cm long, compressed, dark brown, glabrous; seeds suborbicular. |
