Annual, erect, coarse, herb, about 30-150 cm high; branches decumbent, densely hirsute; leaves obovate or narrowly oblanceolate, cuneate at base, acute at apex , coarsely serrate at margins, pubescent on both surfaces; heads 4.5 mm in diameter in long leafy panicles; involucral bracts multiseriate, linear, densely pubescent; receptacle flat or convex, glabrous or hairy; ray florets 3-4 mm long, ligulate, disk florets 3 mm long, tubular, 5-lobed; anther base obtuse, entire; style arms flattened, tips long or short; achenes minute, subglobous; pappus 3-4 mm long, brown. |
