Annual, erect, viscid, pubescent herb; basal leaves in rosette, oblong-elliptic, norrowed at base into `winged petioles, cauline leaves sessile, semi-amplexicaul at base, entire or sinuate, obtuse or acute at apex, glandular, white-dotted beneath; flowers in terminal, lax, corymbose racemes; pedicels about 1 cm long; calyx teeth linear or triangular, acuminate; corolla glandular, white or pale pink, hypocrateriform, tube narrow, linear, glandular, hairy outside; stamens 5, included, attached to the lower part of corolla-tube; filaments filiform; anthers ovate, dehiscing by longitudinal slit; ovary globose to ellipsoid, 2 or imperfectly 4-locular, style filiform, stigma shortly bifid; capsule, ovoid; seeds numerous, minute, compressed, black.
