Diagnostic characters:

| Body long and slender, snout ends with a pointed dermal appendage, with a median groove on the upper side; eyes large with elliptical, horizontally lobed ”key hole” type pupil; tail long. Body colour uniform parrot-green or bluish-green, often with a thin white or yellow line separating upper body scales from belly scales. Tongue pinkish, speckled with brown spots; ventral side off-white or green or bluish. SVL: 2000mm. |
